When looking for a rental you should check the water pressure, look in the backs of cupboards, round the windows, and on the bathroom roof for damp. Make sure the extractor fan in the bathroom works. If it's a tenement with single glazing bare in mind it'll have high energy costs in winter.
Basement flats can be alright but many are pretty dark, maybe more prone to damp too. |
