I do get that, but 9/10 times I see people attempting to cut in aren't doing it to not cause a massive queue, they actually cause a queue in the lane they're in because they're attempting to jook in at the last minute and block the lane they're in at present.
I see this almost every day on the road from Rutherglen to Polmadie at the M74 junction.
