| Comment | There's varying degrees within the genre of rebel music. A lot of it is fairly neutral stuff about enjoying your homeland and it's culture, and some if it equates to calling the enemy rats and how you're going to drive them out. There's no need to feel guilty over what music you enjoy - if anything, you can do some reading up on the history and you'll probably end up enjoying it more by learning where the sentiment comes from. Maybe just avoid blasting out the Wolfe Tones unless you live in Royston or Parkhead. |
