People hate change and don’t understand why we can’t just haul in the original masonry and recreate what was there pre-70’s. If they did that and then charged considerably more for a lot less space people would rage regardless.
I love tenements as much as the next person but the city needs a lot of new/more space efficient builds to accommodate demand. This will help keep things flowing and isn’t worse to look at than what’s there now. Plus it has room for local amenities beneath it which is a lot better than most of these builds! |
