I’m presuming you mean the western (car + passenger) rather than the Argyll (passenger only).
Buy them in the coop on the left hand side coming through Gourock. I’m currently travelling each weekend from Dunoon to Glasgow and had no issues - you may have to wait for a ferry on a Saturday but ferry’s are running every 15-30 mins. It’s almost half price buying them before you get on the ferry but you can pay aboard with card (no cash at the moment).
For the Argyll (if you want to leave car in Gourock or travel by train) you can buy in advance from Glasgow central with train ticket or on the bait with cash or card. |
