I understand you're struggling and I'm really sorry to hear that but what I will say is do your homework. Most therapists will offer a taster session as each will have their own area of expertise and as professionals, they won't just take your money and attempt to help if they think you'd be better off in the hands of someone who specialises in what you're dealing with - they may even be able to recommend a colleague.
On a human level, they'll only want to work with people who they think they can mesh with and as the patient, that should go for you as well.
As someone who's recently finished therapy, trust me when I say it gets better. Hope you're able to get the help you need and deserve. |
