| Comment | I live in the East End and entirely agree with this cities public transport options being absolutely and utterly bottom of the barrel. I prefer to cycle into and out of the town as it's absolutely pointless for me relying on public transport after a certain time of night.
However, people in Shawlands aren't going to face those issues to the same degree and those who are differently abled and in need of good public transport will be able to avail of it a fair bit easier than the rest of the city at locations like this.
The more people who are fucked off and fighting for decent transport solutions that call for it the more likely we are to get it. Like I'd honestly prefer a decent bus service to my area that isn't served by trains rather than taking the bike but nobody cares about folk in G33 or whatever unless it's transport to and from The Fort. |
