Nobody is saying public transport can replace private car/van usage for other use cases, it's for ferrying people about the city as efficiently as possible. Are you expecting an extension to the subway to Loch Lomand or something?
The car and van will always be king for travelling out of the city and transporting stuff but the majority of inner city journeys don't call for that so what's your argument now?
I've already acknowledged the basic public transport is utter shite in this city so inserting edge cases and non public trans situations isn't helpful. |
