The 2 lots of taxi only grants were of no use to taxi drivers?
Im thinking that they just under-declared earnings for years to avoid tax and now the Self Employment grants are coming back to bite them. Also, they can still work while receiving these, yet others on furlough cant/struggle to find a second job?
As someone who uses multiple taxis a day for work, i have no sympathy. 7/10 times ill get a rude driver who wont pick me up from my specified location and alot of companies now charge waiting time at red lights etc. If they are struggling alot, why not remove these simple obstacles first? |
