Plus throughout the first lockdown they were doing home deliveries of free food to folk in the community, have been getting locals to work on the construction, and are trying to run things on a pay-what-you-can model so they're sticking true enough to anarchist politics of mutual aid.
Like, they know they've a market in left-wing and Jewish groups, and they're in the part of town with a high density of both, so they'll do fine, and those that don't like that sort of thing can just go to literally any other place on Vicky Road? |
