Comment | I think you're being a bit less than reasonable here.
Point A:-
The project is a "queer Yiddish anarchist" cafe. That would suggest that they want, as directors, people who 1) are LGBT+, 2) are Jewish, and 3) subscribe to the political tenets of anarchism. Such a person must also 4) want to be a director.
The number of people who meet all 4 requirements must be vanishingly tiny already. To then get a POC they would need a Beta Israel or a Mizrahi Jew - who must be counted on one hand in Glasgow already. Add in "must also be an LGBT+ anarchist who can be bothered to run a community cafe", and it's probably virtually zero.
Point B:-
The project essentially amounts to "give people free kosher food". I don't really see why they need a POC on the board to do that. |
