| Comment | Hand in a CV in person to the duty managernd at a quiet time (mid week day time is ideal), ask for a trial shift and be relaxed/sound. Don't go on about your love of getting pished every weekend.
If I was starting again I'd avoid city centre late night bars/clubs and go for a local/old man pub; the hours, the co-workers and the clientele are so much easier to deal with. Working a club or a cocktail bar during a rush is fuckin miserable and the tips are beyond shite. |
