Comment	I am not saying Polish healthcare service is better as a general. It has its moments where it is much better, of course (my father for example receives top class treatment for his health problems and my Scottish friends with similar issues struggled to get the NHS interested until he ended up requiring emergency treatment - which was top class). I also have comparison as 20 years ago, when Polish health service was much, much worse than is today I was involved in a car accident and had injury to my head which was nowhere as serious as the one this time, and yet the treatment I received in a hospital that looked like Chernobyl film set was much, much better than my more recent experience with NHS. As a general rule yes, NHS is much better than Polish health service... But if we remember how much each other costs, one can risk a claim, that the Polish one offers much better value for money. What I am saying is that NHS is not perfect. There are many fields or situations where it leaves a lot to be desired. I am getting instantly attacked for stating that fact. British belief that NHS is the best system ever, the object of envy of the whole world is almost like a religion here. One is not allowed to discuss it, especially if one is from another country (incidentally it's usually those from another country who have some data to compare).
