| Comment | Castle Semple has a SUP and Windsurfing club where you can do lessons. I think doing a session then gives you a years membership too.
I did some paddleboarding there last week - the water is ok but it's pure mud underfoot. Not sure if self rescue is the same with windsurfing, but i found it pretty difficult because my feet were stuck in the mud.
I make it sound awful, I loved it and will def go back once I can get myself back on my board a bit easier. There are a lot of birds and the slipway and jetties are covered in bird shit but that's expected given you're right by a bird reserve.
There's also a rowing club so have fun avoiding them. |
