If you can afford to live in the west end then Glasgow University is very close. Its a big campus so depends where you will be studying and while a lot of Glasgow is flat the main building at Glasgow is on a small hill! Of you can live in the west end I would suggest walking if your fitness can manage.
I cycle and would say 1 mile is quick on a bike that you have to lock up etc when starting / ending and I think if you take that into account then walking is the same time.
However if greater than a mile then go for a bike.
Glasgow is not a great city for cycling but we do have some decent infrastructure dependent on where you are. |
