| Comment | Contrary to popular belief, the time of day doesn’t matter in relation to nuisance noise. If the noise can be measured from your property at 34dBA (or 10dBA above the background noise, whichever is higher) then the person making the noise is breaking the law. If they don’t desist when asked they could be issued with a fixed penalty notice and have their equipment seized. If the noise is having an effect on your quality of life then it’s irrelevant if it’s at 8am or 11pm. You should make a complaint to GCC via their website. |
