There's a group which have been fighting to keep it open/reopen it for years. [They staged a sit in](https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/news/17332434.govanhill-baths-facility-for-all-of-the-community-is-promised/) at the beginning of their protest.
Also not sure if it counts as abandoned I'm sure there have been pop up [restaurants](https://www.designmynight.com/glasgow/blog/section-33-the-next-big-thing-in-pop-up-guerrilla-dining) and markets there from time to time.
Good news is that's it's mid refurbishment and it's opening again! |
