When I used to go to church regularly, I noticed that they no longer rang the bells the 5 mins before service started (at 11am) I asked about it, and it was because a Nurse lived across the road and worked nightshift a lot and she asked if it was possible to lessen them, so they just stopped out of courtesy. |
