| Comment | I'm just repeating the advice given to me by GCC pest control. They said if there is any food whatsoever it will attract them. Doesn't matter if you catch one, the rest can smell the food and will come back again and again with food there, knowing this place is a reliable source of food. A snap trap kills one, but then there's just peanut butter sitting out for the rest of the night for the rest of them. They said the best option was to make your place unattractive by having nothing edible available because why would they come back if they can't smell anything out? And then the only thing that is available to them is poison that won't kill them til they're in their nest - meaning you don't need to deal with wee corpses. So that's a good option in my books. |
