| Comment | In my early 30s too and started roller skating (total newbie) and met very nice people. Follow @peopleskateglasgow for the meetups, or just show up at the Riverside museum and skaters tend to be helpful and friendly. Also, if you aren't sure and don't have roller skates and want to try first, you can go to the skating classes at Rollerstop on Thursdays and rent them, and stay for the disco afterwards if you feel like.
