| Comment | It’s not been mentioned yet but in Glasgow and the West they also have Republican matches which celebrate Republican terrorists groups, mainly the IRA who killed many people during the troubles.
Orange Order marches tend to be larger and bring out more spectators. They have a massive one on the Saturday before the big march in Belfast around the 12th of July (Battle of Boyne). People come over from Belfast for it, Scots go over the Belfast for the Glorious 12th marches.
Both sides are just as bad as each other and don’t belong in a civilised society IMO.
I used to live near Glasgow Green and there was a march nearly every week during the summer. |
