Queens Park, Steathbungo and Govanhill? Pfft. It's no that bad, certainly not a problem if there's a group and you're around during the day. Main roads (Vicky & Pollokshaws) are totally fine.
I'd feel safer walking through there at night than I would parts of the West End or city centre
