| Comment | I work for a geotechnical contractor. We have carried out extensive investigations on both sides of the river. In all the collapsed areas along the Clyde, the investigation process was part of the design process for repairing the wall and reinforcing the ground. There have been lots of issues regarding insurance, liability, and who is going to pay for the remediation works, and I believe it was finally agreed that each flat (at Windmillcroft Quay) would pay several thousand pounds, with the council and possibly ScotGov adding to that. |
