| Comment | Because all the easy options are gone, we pissed decades up the wall in the name of short-term profit. We failed to leap-frog the developing world past coal etc.
We are now looking at the "doable but more politically/financilly expensive" options (none of this is "risky" per se, it's just taking action).
Pretty soon we will be at the "only magic new tech can save us" point and that's is when the actual risky shit will have to be tried. |
