Trouble with the Conic is its a nightmare to walk down in the dark.

There's a viewpoint in Drymen right [here](https://goo.gl/maps/fws7VkFXuPVdSBAm6), it's not very obvious but its a little hill and it faces directly west. The view is of Loch Lomond and you can see the islands in it, you can see Ben Lomond towering above the whole thing too. And then you've got a few places to stay in Dyrmen if that's going to be a thing, or go to the Clachan for dinner (oldest licensed pub in Scotland, you will need to book).
