Agree with this, I work in Govanhill (with children) and it is safe there, despite the negative press it gets from the likes of the Evening Times. There are a lot of people living in poverty there, in cramped and unsafe conditions, but in terms of my own personal safety just walking around, I've never felt remotely in danger.
