Just to point out that you don't have to do the whole walk in one go. It can easily be done in stages as most of the sections are accessible by public transport. I don't have a huge amount of free time so have been doing it in stages over the last few months. It means you can enjoy the scenery and the walk without having to carry a huge bag!
