I've probably seen PWEI ten times, and Godflesh three or four, and I would never in my life consider them anything remotely close to trip-hop. Suggesting Justin Broderick appeals to people who like that crap you posted is insane. Sorry, I mean, "one could conclude" that that's insane.
I remember when things like Scxorn were called 'dark ambient', which is hilariously terrible name, but it certainly fits more than 'trip-hop' here.
