Where do you draw the line. What about the next guy that comes along and says “oh I drive a small electric car, why can’t I use the bus lane to skip all those cars causing pollution if a petrol motorbike can zip through there.”

Bus lanes are there to help buses stick to a schedule as best as possible. Bus gates are there to reduce the emissions levels in the city centre in addition to above.

There are ways to avoid the Kingston Bridge by travelling round the city depending on which direction you came from and are travelling to. High St/Broomielaw/Clyde St
