| Comment | Blantyre is fine and about as much bother to get to central Glasgow as it is from Paisley. I'm not too familiar with UWS, but I think it'd depend on what you were studying in terms of the quality of their degree, but everyone I've known who studied there did well. It can be noisy here but I wouldn't worry too much. I had a friend from the Middle East who was bothered by the noise at night. I asked why, since she was from a big city, and presumably used to that, and she said that people were fighting every night.
