The cheapest ones are the ones with old shitey vans like Boulevard. There's a tier above that of small local ones like AMK, KMC in Airdrie etc. The best van hire company IMO is Arnold Clark, everything is brand new and they have a very wide range and good customer service. They also do 4 hour hires which can be good if you live near a depot.
