| Comment | My dad has offered to pay for a private diagnosis but I told him I feared this very thing. I've read more than a few accounts of people from the UK who have gone private and receieved a diagnosis after a short phone call which I found very odd. Also I've been estranged from my dad for a long time and I am not comfortable with him paying, the fact that on paper I fit the criteria means that they should at least see me, I shouldn't even have to consider private care.
If I can't get help from the nhs then I will go private.
