I'd disagree with some of your comments. The current frenzy is being driven my a lack of stock, typically folk defaulting on mortgages would lead to a regular replenishment of investment properties - i.e to flip or to improve then rent.
So, investors and home owners are fighting over the same scarce resource and why people are being priced out of the market by cash buyers left, right and centre. |
