Further to this, when the Pfizer jab came out it was a 3 week interval in line with Pfizer’s guidance. There was a big reaction from the medical community when the govt pushed it to 12 weeks (as a lot of people had already had 1 jab after consenting to a 2-jab, 3 week interval vaccination programme), as well as the fact that Pfizer had no evidence on efficacy at this longer interval.
