You can’t be too poor to be homeless. It may be that you they didn’t want to move you into temporary accommodation because they charge like £300 a week and housing benefit won’t cover that.
If you’re facing homelessness you can tell them you are but have a place you can stay so you don’t need temporary accommodation.
Also make sure you tell them you have a child who stays at the weekends as you should definitely be getting at least a 1 bed flat. |
