| Comment | I’m in my late 40s, married, no kids. We relocated to Glasgow earlier this year. The pandemic has pretty much put on hold everything- gigs, any sort of cultural group that meets indoors and so on. Slowly things might be picking up again hopefully.
I already had a couple of friends here which has helped. People are overall quite friendly here, and I’ve enjoyed a Redditors meet up. A dose of realism is necessary though, because meeting people and making friends when you’re older is not easy, especially if you don’t have the immediate connection of kids, school stuff and so on. |
