Comment | We had that in our house a while back, a scottish water engineer came out and had a look and test the water, he said the chlorine content was indeed slightly high and this was sometimes due to having to change the chlorine dosage at the pumping/filtration stations and it takes a while to sort itself out over the network. He suggested if you fill a plastic bottle and leave the lid slightly ajar so its not air tight the chlorine should dissapate enough over a couple of hours that you wont notice the taste. We have not had the problem again since. |
