Comment | If you like outdoorsy things, on Facebook look up Girls Go Wild (Glasgow and West) - it’s a great meet-up page but mostly for outdoor activities. Loads of activities on the go, just pick one and rock up.
Everyone’s a bit nervous their first time but everyone doing it has been in exactly the same position so they’re super friendly.
(I found this sort of thing easier than bumble BFF cos it’s usually a group of folk and at least 1 or 2 others going for their first time.)
I’ve used bumble BFF before and it’s decent but it’s more of a 1 on 1. Don’t be put off thinking it’s a dating app, it’s separate and the BFF thing is good. Pretty much all folk in a similar situation who’ve just moved to Glasgow or surrounding areas.
If you like the gym, try the classes rather than the gum floor. Personally not a fan of classes but if you go to the same ones regularly, you start seeing the same faces and I’ve made some good pals this way.
Also, I’ve a friend that does BorrowMyDoggy and has made loads of pals with the dog owners or other people while she’s out walking the dog!
If folk from the thread are up for a wee meet up, I’d be game! |
