they're usually pretty good about it. I claimed over a dozen times in 2019, train got cancelled a fair few times, guy in the ticket office had stacks of the forms ready to go. Once they asked for more info, but they seem to just check the info on the service you're claiming for and if it matches what you said they pay out.
