but yeah, i was pissed at them appropriating the colours but more because theyre used by the genderqueer flag. the original suffragette movement was racist as fuck if you look into their history (the suffragists were better. they werent as effective as the suffragettes but they werent as virulently bigoted) so im not so bothered by that appropriation, it seems appropriate in all honesty. |
