Blooms in Partick and Barvas & James on Queen Margaret Drive are two I can think of. Sometimes they sell ivy and monsetras at Roots & Fruits on Great Western Road, near Kelvinbridge subway. There is also a plant nursery in the south side called Apercu. These are all pretty pricey shops though, I recommend IKEA as they sell quite a nice range and they're all pretty affordable although it can be a bit of a headache to go there on the bus. In September the QMU often does wee plant sales that are nice. Tesco shops anywhere sell poorly looked after succulents that you can rescue!
