Within Trossachs National Park, you’ll need a permit to camp on all of the good places: https://www.lochlomond-trossachs.org/things-to-do/camping/get-a-permit/
You can venture a bit further west and head to Glen Etive... Google maps is your friend here, but it’s basically a left turn off the A82, just before Glencoe Ski centre. Glen Etive is one of my favourite spots but it has been littered heavily in recent years and the locals are campaigning for by-laws, similar to those in the park, to prevent wild camping, so please be respectful and leave no trace if you go there (or anywhere for that matter!)
If you stay within the park then I’d recommend Loch Chon, Loch Lubnaig, and Loch Venachar. |
