| Comment | Don't walk North, nothing but misery there. Roughest (most dangerous) parts of the city up North
Walk through the city and to the West you'll find Woodside then Hillhead/Partick.
East will take you to Dennistoun, becoming more and more popular though Duke Street is still a bit dirty, which can be a little rough at night but during the day has lots of new cafes.
Southside nothing within a reasonable walk but a ten minute bus will get you to Shawlands and Queens Park. Shawlands has nice bars and cafes, but again stay out of the Park at night.
