Can buy the gear out Decathlon at Braehead. Might be worth renting before shelling out on the kit to make sure you enjoy it - can rent at the Loch Lomond sites on Balmaha/Rowardennan I’m sure. Loch Lomond / Loch Ard / Menteith Lake all good shouts.
