Anything Alexander Greek Thomson is a treat along with his out-of-place tombstone in the southern necropolis close to the ruins of his Caledonian road church which is basically the twin of the St Vincent Street church that he built. His Egyptian Halls are completely covered, but they're right across from Central on Union Street. I think it's Union Street. There's also his bucks head building off of argyle. And some of his tenement flats are still around in govanhill/strathbungo and in the west side too! |
