Surge charging is the main issue. It was £13 to go from queen street to woodlands the other day when normally it’s 5. If you manage to get a ride outside a surge they’ll just keep cancelling til there is one. Pre covid an Uber would come relatively fast but I think as a lot of them have quit they now take ages. If someone accepts and it says ten minutes you then wait but then it’ll get to them being a minute away and they’ll then cancel and you have to wait again. This can happen multiple times. |
