| Comment | So, my account here was suspended for three days for the following post in a thread about fast food places in the city centre:
"Ach, just go to Best Kebab. Saw a man dance through there naked from the waist down once. The entertainment will make you forget about the taste of the food."
The reason given: hateful content. This is bollocks of course, so I appealed. My appeal was denied. I can only assume that the reddit mods didn't bother to look at the post. Either that or they have a very different definition of 'hateful' than is in the dictionary. I was wondering if anyone here could shed some light on this? Has this kind of thing happened to anyone else? Did someone just report my comment in the knowledge that my account would be suspended because mods don't bother to look at the validity of the complaint? If so, that's a pretty shitty thing to do. I'm genuinely dumbfounded. |
