As someone who has worked in multiple pubs, you want to work in a student bar. They're overwhelmingly the soundest customers. Avoid cocktails bars full of middle age folk, these place suck to work in. I'd recommend applying to the 78, mono, stereo and the flying pig. If I remember right these places all pay living wage.
