I think you'll love it!

I was in london for 3 years while at uni as well and missed it when i moved back to Northumberland, now im in Glasgow and i feel like it's the perfect large city, similar to london in a lot of ways but no where near as chaotic, always feel safe walking around, everyones really friendly.

The west end is great to live plenty of cafes, shops and supermarkets, museums, parks, and great transport links especially if you're near a train or subway station, south side is good too, and it's not really a community I'm part of but there's plenty of lgbtq+ spaces around.

Easy day trips to Edinburgh too!

I think rent/property prices are on the up which is unfortunate but one of the best things about renting in scotland is the leases are monthly so you don't have to be locked into a 12 month contract etc.

Loooooaaads of vegan food options everywhere too you'll be fine for food 🤤
