No advice for you, but I feel your pain. I've put it off for a couple of years to build up a bit more cash in pocket to be able to go over asking price. One place we put an offer in was advertised at £99k, HR £110k, went for £130k. For a 1 bed off Cathcart road! It's madness for anyone who's not cash-rich or bankrolled.
